A few considered checks help make every ride a better one. Always follow the instructions supplied with your board and charger.
Before you head out
- Check wheels, belts, trucks and visible fasteners for damage, unusual looseness or wear.
- Check your board and remote battery levels, connection and braking response at walking speed in a clear area.
- Wear a helmet and suitable protective equipment. Start with a low speed setting and ride within your ability.
- Choose a suitable riding area and check local rules for electric skateboards.
Charging and storage
Use only the charger specified for your board. Charge in a dry, ventilated area while you are present, away from combustible materials. Stop using equipment that is damaged, unusually hot or behaving abnormally, and contact support.
Keep the board dry and avoid submerging it or exposing the electronics to water. Do not open the battery enclosure or modify the electrical system. Follow the supplied instructions for storage and charging intervals.
Something doesn’t feel right?
Stop riding and contact the Lycaon team. Include a description of the issue and your order reference if available.
